Hates Studying.
An easygoing and carefree, yet intelligent and very good at sport, but not interest in any. The only thing she hates is when sport festival comes, because it intrudes on her anime program she loves. She is the shortest of all (she said that she is not growing at all since sixth grade), and the "leader" of Lucky Star girls. Her nickname is Kona-chan, given by Tsukasa. She can be very smart, but rather than studying she prefer reading manga or playing game and very good at last minute cramming. She live with her father, Sojiro Izumi, he is the one who influence Konata in anime and video games. In anime, Konata often make parodies several popular anime, games and manga.
When comp festival going to held in held in Akihabara, Konata took a part-time job on cosplay
cafe together with Patricia. She works in order to fund her interests. In online game, she played as male warrior. Konata often plays until midnight, hence she often late to school and becomes frequent victim to her teacher, Nanako Kuroi, who ironically she is part of Konata's team in the same game.
Her body is much smaller than any other normal girl at her age. She said that her body hasn't grown at all since sixth grade. Konata is ambidextrous (able to use both hands well), unlike other character who mostly left handed. Konata has long blue hair, small mole under her left eye (that make her so cute), just like her father. Her mother died when she still so young, and she lives with her father since then. When she is in third year of high school, her cousin, Yutaka Kobayakawa came to live at her house, giving a total of three people in the house.
