Hiyori Tamura is an amateur doujin artist, also the first year classmate of Yutaka and Minami. She is an otaku who creates her own doujinshi. Hiyori always looking for a good plot to use in her doujinshi, and she is often imagine Yutaka and Minami in romantic moments. But it only makes her embarrassed over the idea and break into an emotional burst that makes Yutaka and Minami clueless. Even when she got a good idea, she fails to write down notes about it. She called Hiyorin by Konata and Koo. She is a kind person, but has unfortunate luck, also prone to become bashful hence she makes a simple mistake in decisive moment. Hiyori has long black hair, a wide forehead and she is a meganekko. Hiyori is a member of the Animation Research Club.
